I have been doing pottery for about five years. I like throwing on the wheel the best, but I also like to hand build. I frequently alter a thrown form, and I love to experiment with different textures.

I make my pottery while listening to music ... not quiet serene stuff ... typically rock and alternative! I don't like production work, so I rarely turn out matching sets of anything. Instead, I focus on the forms themselves ... glazing is always secondary with me. I love bowl shapes and platters, so they make up a lot of my work.

I work in a home studio that my husband and I spent almost 18 months building from the ground up. It has been in operation for almost a year now. If you would like to see my work or my studio, please contact me for an appointment.
