Claudia George

Dirt Bag Pottery
Cornelia, GA
www.DIRTBAGPOTTERY.com

A Chicago native Claudia moved to the area in the year 2000 to be near her Grandchildren. She is founder and owner of Dirt Bag Pottery formerly in Clarkesville, but now in Cornelia. Claudia teaches pottery classes in her studio. She has yet to meet anyone she can’t teach the discipline of making pottery. Even the “most vertically challenged”, she jests.

Claudia sells pottery at several local galleries such as, Burton Gallery, Lee Johnson Gallery in Clayton, GHCA in Tullulah Falls and Dreamgivers Gallery in Toccoa, GA.

Her pottery is mostly utilitarian, but her passion is making organic sculptures, which are very detailed and time consuming.

You can visit her studio at 600 Hoyt St. in Cornelia
Mondays 10 - 5, Wednesdays 10 - 5 or Saturdays 10 - 5 and she would love for you to “take a class”.

You can contact her by calling (cell) 706-768-1628 or home: 706-778-3846 or on the web www.DIRTBAGPOTTERY.com
