Carol has been enjoying the endless variety and beauty of gems and minerals while setting them with precious metals for almost twenty years. Additionally, she has been enthralled by the color, sparkle, and texture inherent in seed beads. Her designs have recently expanded into mosaics and polymer clay art.

Carol has studied design under a State Artist for the former USSR, and she routinely teaches classes at the William Holland School of Lapidary Arts.
