Nannette Johnson

Valley High Pottery
Batesville, GA

Nannette discovered the joy of clay later in life. But once she did, she was off and running. She makes wonderful functional pieces yet tends toward the folksy and whimsical. Her sculpture, “Brother John”, won 1st Place in the first juried event she ever entered.

Nannette is very excited about her new series called “Faces Gone To Pot”, adorable flower vases with faces, headpieces and earrings. She loves to travel, loves animals and loves living in beautiful rural Batesville. Nannette is grateful for the many wonderful teachers she has had along the way.

Currently exhibiting at Cottage Garden & Furniture in Batesville, Georgia Heritage for the Arts in Tallulah Falls, Mountain Crafts Co-op in Sautee and Greenleaf Gallery in Clayton.
