Any who know me would find the concept of my writing a short biography humorous as I am reputed to be a woman of many words. In short, I am now, and always have been, driven to create. If I dont make the time to work on bonafide art projects, I end up applying my creative energy to a shopping list, e-mail or my “myspace” page. Now that I am fortunate enough to have a career in the world of art and artists, I enjoy sharing my creative monster with others. It’s fun to amaze my right-brained friends with magic like “copy-paste”. My true art-form is making stained-glass kaleidoscopes and window hangings but I have lately ventured into the field of jewelry making with precious metal clay and have thoroughly enjoyed making one-of-a-kind silver pendants and earrings. Occasionally my muse talks me into picking up a paintbrush and splashing around in some acrylic paints or indulging my passion for beautiful papers and images in an attempt at collage. I am also driven to write, mostly poetry and short stories, but I’m sure I have a novel in me too. I count myself fortunate to have such a wide variety of outlets for my need to create. Most days you will find me working alongside the other artists at GHCA, but there’s no telling whether I’ll be cutting glass, painting badly but with great enthusiasm or tapping away at my computer.
