Robie was born in Atlanta, GA. and lived there until 1994 when she and her husband, Bill, moved to their cabin on Lake Burton. After getting settled and accustomed to the serenity of the lake, a friend suggested that she might enjoy taking a drawing class. This led to watercolor painting and a new focus for her. She has studied under Dianne Mize and Robin Miltner. She has attended workshops given by Tony Couch, Tom Landreth, Pat Weaver and Zoltan Szabo. Her love for water and the mountains is reflected in her work. Enjoying God's beauty and capturing it in painting is such a blessing.
