As I was observing the development of the top of Screamer Mountain and other wooded areas nearby I felt that I wanted to preserve the beauty of the wood in the mountains. I have carved this wood of the hickory, poplar and hobhornblend (iron wood to the Native Americans). I have taken these saplings and given them another life as an aid for those that want to hike and enjoy the beauty of the Northeast Georgia Mountains.
