Sherry Clive lives and works in the Northeast Georgia Mountains. She studied art at both Georgia State University and the Art Institute of Atlanta. In 1983, she moved to Paris, France and in 1985 was accepted to the prestigious fine arts school, L’Ecole des Beaux Arts de Paris. At ENSBA, most of her time was spent in the printmaking studio and photography lab.

Sherry has exhibited her work abroad and locally, participating in group and solo exhibits. She was awarded a grant from the French Minister of Culture to publish a limited edition of prints, bound in a large portfolio format. This edition is part of the public collection at both the Fine Arts School and the National Library in Paris.

While her passion lies in black and white photography and intaglio printmaking, her work is comprised of works in clay, watercolor, pen and ink, graphite and charcoal, monotype, relief printing, pastel and mixed media collage. Her recent work of watercolors and pastels are inspired by her gardens and nature in the mountains.
