In my early teens, while trying to turn an acrylic painting into a 3-D sculpture my instructor redirected my attention to clay. The painting sadly, did not survive, but my love for clay did.

I have recently returned to the mud and am enjoying creating again. Deojene Design is a studio in which all my handbuilt pieces have an emphasis on living life with a merry heart. Creations include: fun toadhouses, caricatures of people and animals, fanciful dragons, wizards and fairies and a beautiful new series of sculpture I call "Passion from the Earth".
