My favorite motto is “Life is what happens while you’re making other plans” and one of my many plans that fell through the cracks was the one to go to art school when I graduated from high school at sixteen. Now, sixty years later, I never did get to art school but I finally have a place and time to paint. I’ve been painting for five months and every day is a learning experience.
I got a "how-to" tape by an acrylic artist so I bought acrylic paints and that what I use so far.
I don’t really consider myself an artist (“a person with exceptional skills”) and I don’t know anyone else who paints but I’m looking forward to seeing the work other people do.
