My favorite motto is “Life is what happens while you’re making other plans” and one of my many plans that fell through the cracks was the one to go to art school when I graduated from high school at sixteen. Now, sixty years later, I never did get to art school but I finally have a place and time to paint. I’ve been painting since Jan 2008 and every day is a learning experience.

I got a "how-to" tape by an acrylic artist so I bought acrylic paints and that is what I use so far. I've tried painting flowers and a landscape but have found I prefer to paint something with eyes.

Looking forward to tomorrow.
