My name is Sandra Copenhaver and I create "Art for the Home". I worked in an office most of my life and finally was able to retire and pursue what had been a deep and passionate desire to paint, to create art with depth and life, with light and color. I began taking art classes and after struggling for three years with the common style of paint to brush, I began used a palette knife and everything changed. Then and only then, did I feel satisfaction with my creations. So today, much of my work is created with a palette knife leaving the paintings full of texture and dimension. Each piece takes many weeks to dry before framing and preparation and presentation in a gallery. I have has spent summers in Clayton, Georgia since 1999 and winters in Inverness, Florida. My art is considered Impressionistic and inclues local mountain landscapes, sunsets and coastal scenes, bright still life florals,
towns and street scenes, and even life size portraits. I want you to FEEL my ART, literally and figuratively, and hopefully, enjoy it as much as I did in creating it.
