Lambsgate StudioTiger, GA www.lambsgatefineart.com Sandy began painting in oil's in the early 1960's as a hobby and then later minored in art at the University of Florida. In the last 15 years she has studied with Claudia Hartley of the Hartley Art Studio, Phoenix Arizona. She has also studied with local artist Libby Mathews and Jo Ann Williams Walker of Panama City, Florida. Most recently she's studied with master impressionist plein air painter Guido Frick of Germany and the US. She loves the use of bold vibrant color with strong contrasts. Sandy and her husband Billy live in Tiger, GA. Presently she is represented at the Burton Gallery near Lake Burton, in northeast Georgia. |
