Since childhood I have done some kind of art. As a teen and at UGA my focus was clothing design. I worked many years here in Helen with Orbit as Designer or Design Coordinator of Ladies Sportswear. In the 90’s I switched to Window Treatments and Interior Coordinates. I enjoyed Faux Painting and decorative painting. In 2007 I painted in oils under the instruction of Judy Bynum George and caught the Painting Bug. I also enjoy watercolors.

My love of the Arts and History lead me to be one of the organizers of the Helen Arts and Heritage Council. As President I hope to grow this organization into something that area artists historians and visitors can all enjoy.
