Loretta Addison
Loretta remembers entering an art contest in the third grade with a drawing of a “Ford” automobile. Some thirty five years later, an oil painting on a tin can sparked her enthusiasm for art once again. After purchasing some oil paints, she tried her hand at the tin can and found this to be an exciting new adventure. After showing her neighbor the finished painting, she received encouragement, and through this art connection, Loretta and her neighbor inspired and encouraged each other in their painting.
Loretta began drawing lessons and continued to paint in oils and acrylics. A few years later, she discovered watercolor. She enrolled in watercolor classes and found this to be her favorite medium. She especially enjoys the way the pigment and water flow together to make magic like no other medium. She has entered and placed in several art shows.
