Exploration of a variety of artistic mediums helped develop my personal sense of creativity. Throughout the years, I've studied drawing, oil painting, pastels, photography and pottery. In addition, my five-year participation as co-owner/artist of an Art-to-Wear Boutique was one of my most rewarding experiences. All merchandise was original, created by a talented group of women artists. Now beads are my passion. In bead weaving and design, I am inspired primarily by color and texture. I favor a complex, ornate style, but I'm led by details in stones and movement of the colors. My favorite creations are free-form pieces in which a variety of different sized and shaped beads are woven. My jewelry can be seen and purchased at the Georgia Heritage Center for the Arts in Tallulah Falls.
