About the artist.
Richard Smith has been a professional photographer for over 35 years. His images have won both local and national awards. He has taught classes on photography and digital art through out the southeast. Richard recently retired form North Georgia Technical College where he has been teaching photography for the past 25 years. As a result of his dedication to education in the photographic industry, Richard received the National Award from the Professional Photographers of America. This is the highest award given by this association. He also holds the degrees of Master of Photography and Photographic Craftsman from the Professional Photographers of America. He is a life member of the Southeastern Professional Photographers and Georgia Professional Photographers Associations. His art is created by combining his photography and computer skills.
