Sherry MacDonald

Willow Tree Pottery
Carnesville, GA

Sherry MacDonald is a native of northeast Georgia. She loves the out-of-doors and finds great solace there. The beauty and wonder of the miracles she experiences in nature sparks her imagination and creativity. She has shared these loves with many children during her 31 years of teaching elementary school. Retired now, Sherry lives in the country along the Middle Fork of the Broad River with her husband, daughter, and numerous pets. Her good friend and neighbor, Julie Cavender (Willow Tree Pottery) has provided space and encouragement for Sherry to continue to create. All of Sherry’s work is hand formed so that each piece is unique. She hopes that her sculptures bring a smile to the heart, and her walking sticks bring fantasies alive. She thoroughly enjoys sharing her fantasies through her artwork and hopes that each creation sparks the miracle and power of the imagination.
