Gary and Becky Fish have been creative in one way or another for most of their lives. Gary considers what he does to be decorative woodworking He enjoys designing and creating custom furniture, in particular tables of all sizes, and bookshelves,along with jewelry boxes and other kinds of decorative boxes, and wooden box drums. He also builds and repairs stringed musical instruments,
Becky has mainly worked with fibers and fabrics, but in the last few years has discovered a talent for wood carving as well. Her main focus has been creating spoons with decorative handles. She is especially fond of flower motifs and is currently working on a series of original designs featuring spring and summer blooms.
Their work is currently available at Georgia Heritage Center for the Arts.
