Jennifer Stack Moore has been painting since the age of eight. After graduating from Hollins College in 1987, she began a career in marketing and design which culminated into her own company, Jennifer Moore Decorative Painting. After 10 successful years of faux-finishing walls, furniture and painting murals, Jennifer turned to her life-long dream of taking her talent in a personal direction.

After refining her drawing skills at the Cincinnati Art Academy, she started studying with acclaimed en plein aire artist, Libby Mathews. In 2006, Jennifer traveled with Libby to Fontaine-Fourches, France, where they spent an intense 2-week period painting en plein aire paintings daily in the French Loire Valley. Having spent her Junior year living in Paris, the return to France and being emersed in the landscape allowed her paintings to have a unique voice. The summer painting in the Loire Valley had a magical effect in translating her vision onto her canvases. Sun-lit scenes of the French landscape, sunflowers and rolling hills are shown in a one-woman show at Seven Oaks Gallery in Lakemont, Georgia. Stop by and see the collection!

Jennifer makes her home here on Tiger Mountain in Rabun County with husband Scott and two children, Caroline (11) and Clayton (8). A studio painter focusing in oils, she also enjoys maintaining her faux finishing business. She shares a studio on Main Street in Clayton (called "Brushdance Studio") where she continues to refine painting the landscape.
